School fees reduced from 700 to 46,400: Bhupendrasinh Chudasama

The fee zodiac committee of Ahmedabad Zone has declared provisional fee of 33 private schools. So far, a total of 186 provincial fees have been announced. Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that the provisional fees declared on Friday were reduced from Rs 700 to Rs46,400. They added that, if the concerned school has objections to the provisional fee, then it will be able to introduce fees to the Regulation Zonal Committee within a week. This process of regulation of school fee will be subject to the final order of the Supreme Court.
In the provisional fee on Friday, the committee decreed Rs. 3460 to Rs. 44,500 in the 5 schools of Ahmedabad city. While the fee for 8 schools of Ahmedabad rural has decreased from Rs.1850 to Rs.40,000. In Mehsana district, Rs. 5,600 to Rs. 46,400 in 2 schools and 12 schools in Gandhinagar district have been reduced from Rs.3405 to Rs.36,500. In Patan district 1 school has been reduced from Rs.700 to Rs.1,100. Education Minister said that there has been a reduction of Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 26,000 in 5 schools of Aravali district.
It is worth mentioning that so far, the provisional fee of 186 private schools has been announced by the Ahmedabad Zone Fee Pricing Committee. Similarly, Surat Committee, Surat Committee 57 and Vadodara Committee had declared provisional fees for 18 private schools. Thus zonal committees will report to the state committee after the zonal committees declare the provisional fees of all the private schools and after the disposal of all the objection requests, the state committee will submit the report to all the private schools' fees in the supremim.
